Use the form for a pitch, a broken figure or a planning question. I read the inbox on weekday mornings, Atlantic time, and I reply within one business day when I can.
What I can and can't help with
I can
- Look at a route pitch. If I have driven something close, I will say what I would keep or cut.
- Fix a stale number. Send the page, the figure and a source. I re-check and I edit.
- Answer a planning question. Ferries, season windows, budget bands, kit. Keep it specific.
- Point you to a live dispatch. If the answer is already filed, I will send you to that slug.
I cannot
- Book your trip. There is no reservation desk behind this form.
- Sell a tour. Thoughtsfromheree does not run packages or hold inventory.
- Place a guest post. The notebook stays in one voice.
- Run an advertisement. Paid placements are not accepted, including “sponsored weekend” copy.

Before you write
How fast do you reply?
Weekday messages usually get a reply within one business day, Atlantic time. Weekend notes wait until Monday morning. If you sent a correction with a source, say so in the first line so I can treat it as a live figure.
Do you accept guest posts or paid placements?
No. I do not run guest columns, sponsored weekends or paid product mentions. If a hostel, a ferry or a stretch of highway appears here, it is because I used it. A pitch that is really an insertion order will get a short decline.
Can I advertise on Thoughtsfromheree?
No. There is no ad slot, no newsletter buy and no “feature your lodge” package. The contact form is for routes, corrections and questions. Use it for those three things and you will get a useful answer.
